not as obvious as some of our treatments, prevention
is without doubt the most important thing that we do,
and often the least publicized.
It
is often said that prevention is the best form of dentistry.

Our
aim is to prevent the need for dental treatment by increasing
awareness of dental disease and instructing on techniques
to avoid it. Regular and thorough examinations will
look for signs of dental caries and periodontal disease.
Of increasing concern is oral cancer. An integral part
of the exam is to look for abnormalities in all the
structures of the mouth and face. Early diagnosis can
often result in a complete cure
